How to Play Waffle
You get 15 tiles arranged around a waffle-shaped grid forming six words — three across, three down — and up to 15 swaps to put every letter in its correct spot. Two letters start out correctly placed (in green); the rest need swapping into position. Fix double-duty letters first
Letters that sit at an intersection of an across and a down word affect two words at once — get those into position early, since a single swap there can turn two words from yellow to green simultaneously.
Don't swap a correct letter to "test" something
Every swap is scored whether or not it helps, so moving a tile you're not sure about is a gamble — only swap once you can see where a letter needs to go, not to explore possibilities.
Work from certain letters outward
