Today's Trickiest Clue

Bartholomew Kuma's Devil Fruit clue is a good reminder that Paramecia-type fruits with abstract effects (his lets him deflect anything he touches) are harder to guess from a vague description than Zoan fruits, which usually hint at an animal shape directly. If the clue mentions deflection, repulsion, or "pushing away" rather than a transformation, that's almost always a Paramecia-type fruit rather than Zoan or Logia.

How Each Onepiecedle Mode Works

Classic

A direct name guess with feedback on attributes like crew, bounty range, and Devil Fruit status. Filtering by crew affiliation first is the fastest narrowing move, since most named characters belong to one of a handful of well-known crews.

Devil Fruit

You're given a fruit's power description and need to name the character who ate it. Reading whether the effect transforms the body (Zoan), grants an element (Logia), or does something abstract (Paramecia) narrows the character pool before you even think about names.

Wanted Poster

A cropped bounty poster. Bounty amount and art style (some posters are clearly older, hand-drawn-looking designs versus newer, sharper art) can hint at how long the character has been active in the story.

Laugh

Characters in One Piece often have a signature laugh pattern (repeated syllables, unusual rhythm). Matching the exact syllable pattern given in the clue to a character you know their catchphrase-laugh for is more reliable than guessing off vibes.

Bounties don't map cleanly to power level: a high bounty in the Wanted Poster clue reflects threat to the World Government as much as raw combat strength, so don't assume the highest number always points to the strongest fighter you can think of.

How we keep this accurate

  • Answers are pulled right after the daily reset for both regions.
  • An editor confirms each mode's character and fruit type against the actual game before publishing.
  • Commentary on a specific clue is written fresh for that puzzle β€” we don't reuse an old character's notes on a new answer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Onepiecedle only use manga characters, or anime too?

It draws on both, so a character who's only appeared briefly in the anime can still show up even if their manga role was minor.

What if a character has had more than one bounty?

The Wanted Poster clue generally uses their most recent known bounty rather than an earlier one from before a time skip.

Are awakened Devil Fruit forms treated differently?

Yes β€” an awakened fruit's description can look quite different from its base form, which is worth knowing if a Devil Fruit clue doesn't match what you remember about a character's usual power.

Is Onepiecedle affiliated with Shueisha or Toei?

No β€” it's an independent fan project. One Piece characters and art belong to their respective rights holders.
